Cost Per Acquisition is a popular commission model where an operator pays an affiliate a flat fixed, one time fee for every new player who makes qualifying deposit or any First Time Depositor acquired through an affiliate or marketing channel. The success of CPA campaign is measured by comparing the acquisition cot against the players LTV. If the CPA is higher than what the player eventually spends, the operator loses money on that specific acquisition.
