Implied probability

Definition

Implied probability is the percentage of an outcome as suggested by the current betting odds. It represents what the market or a bookmaker believes the chance of winning is including the built in overround. It is the bridge between odds and chance. It is the process of converting a bookmaker's odds into a percentage to see how often they think an event will happen.
