Gamban Warns Users Over Lookalike Casino Gambana
Gamban put out a public alert this week about Gambana, an online casino run by JJam Holdings Ltd. The problem? People trying to quit gambling keep mixing up the two names.
No connection exists between the blocking-software provider and the casino, Gamban said, and users should inspect website addresses carefully before trusting them. If you're not sure which service you landed on, reach out through Gamban's official support channels. The company also wants to hear from anyone who ended up on Gambana by mistake, and it's treating the mix-up as serious.
Why does that matter? The product is a recovery tool. Not a casino.
Gamban blocks gambling sites and apps across Windows, Mac, Android and iOS. Its entire purpose is cutting off access to online casino and betting products, which makes a near-identical domain a real hazard for someone in early recovery.
On social media, meanwhile, Gamban hasn't let up on harm prevention. Recent posts have covered addiction stories, techniques for handling urges, and the psychology behind problem gambling. One user passed 700 days gambling-free and gave credit to his wife, Gamblers Anonymous and Gamban. Another post described gambling as an escape from daily pressure. There's also guidance on urge surfing: sitting with an urge instead of acting on it.
Partnerships have grown as well. In August, Gamban announced a deal with Lewes FC covering the 2026/2027 soccer season. The semi-pro English club has campaigned against gambling advertising since 2019. The aim is raising awareness of gambling harm and steering supporters toward the safeguards that exist. Betting promotions are still everywhere in sport, Gamban has said, sponsorship restrictions or not. Back in early 2026, the company teamed up with Michigan's gambling regulator to help players in the state self-exclude.
Gambana.com, for its part, sells something entirely different. Crypto casino games. Sports betting. A VIP rewards program launched in April, complete with deposit bonuses, rakeback and free spins. The site also pushes cryptocurrency trading alongside its casino and sportsbook offerings.
