Oddin.gg Launches eHockey With 1,600 Monthly Matches

Oddin.gg has rolled out eHockey, a head-to-head ice hockey product that runs around the clock and produces 1,600 studio-made matches a month. The Prague supplier timed the launch to land before the NHL season starts.

Short matches. Frequent ones. Played by real people in a studio. That's the same template Oddin.gg uses for its other products, and the betting markets come from its in-house trading and risk management team. Next up: eFootball (NFL) and eBasketball (NBA).

"Every one of these titles adds a few thousand matches a month, and that is the point," said Marek Suchar, Co-Founder and Managing Director. "Operators aren't short of content on a Champions League night. They're short of it on a Monday afternoon, and that's where a sportsbook's engagement numbers are decided."

That's the gap eHockey is chasing. When the puck drops in prime time, a live NHL card brings plenty of liquidity. Then operators are left with dead air. Studio-produced hockey fills the quiet hours, and it doesn't wait on a league schedule. That's what Oddin.gg built for.

The product calendar doesn't follow any league's fixture list. So it works for hockey bettors outside North American time zones, the ones who'd otherwise be pricing games at 2am or skipping them altogether. A European or Asian book can run an NHL-adjacent market around the clock without carrying the overnight risk of a live league feed.

Esports betting remains Oddin.gg's core business. The company recently put out the second edition of its Esports Betting Review, which charts betting trends across Counter Strike 2, Dota 2 and League of Legends. eHockey, plus the American football and basketball formats to come, is its attempt to close the distance between esports and traditional sports wagering.

"Between April and August, eTouchdown handle grew 16-fold before a single regular-season snap," said Pete Camden, Director of Fast Betting Content at Oddin.gg. "That showed us football demand doesn't switch off in February. eHockey applies the same logic to hockey: a format nobody needs explained to them, available around the clock."

Hockey is a sensible target. Rules are familiar, action is continuous, and no bettor needs a tutorial to follow a head-to-head matchup. For affiliates, the practical angle sits in the schedule. 1,600 events a month is a steady stream of pre-match and in-play content to push, instead of a few peak windows a week.

No launch date yet for the eFootball and eBasketball versions. Both will follow the same studio model.
