Five verticals on one license: sportsbook pools, casino, live casino, poker on the iPoker network, and six-game online bingo
Strong native apps, roughly 4.5 stars on iOS and 4.4 on Android
The one welcome credit Swedish law allows comes with no wagering requirement
Bingo jackpots that can clear a million kronor, shared across multiplayer rooms with live chat

Fined SEK 100 million by Spelinspektionen in 2024 over duty-of-care gaps. The ruling was later annulled in court, but Spelinspektionen has appealed
Trustpilot sentiment is mixed, with complaints about site performance and perceived payout odds
One-Time No-Wagering Welcome Credit
Svenska Spel's single permitted new-customer bonus under Swedish gambling law (one bonus per player, per license, ever). Its most recent run credited SEK 100 to new customers who deposited at least SEK 25 and placed a SEK 1 bet, with no wagering requirement, paid within 7 days of the first settled bet. Terms and the exact figure rotate periodically, so check the current offer before signing up.

Bingo
Six named games: Singeln, Femman, Nian, Tusenlappen, EM-spelet and Rock'n'Roll. Tickets run 5, 10 or 20 kronor apiece and you can buy up to 24 cards a round. Singeln is single-player against the clock. The rest are multiplayer rooms with live chat, where the first to bingo takes a shared jackpot that can run past a million kronor.
Poker
Poker runs on the iPoker Network, which Svenska Spel joined in 2023. Alongside iPoker's shared player pool and tournament schedule, Svenska Spel keeps its own cash game tables and hosts the annual Swedish Championship (Tips-SM).
Apps & U X
Native iOS and Android apps carry strong store ratings, around 4.5 and 4.4 respectively. The interface is Swedish only, with no English toggle, consistent with a license restricted to Swedish residents.
Live casino
Evolution and Playtech (OnAir) run the tables: roulette, blackjack, baccarat, Casino Hold'em, Super Sic Bo and game shows like Crazy Coin Flip. A branded Svenska Spel Studio hosts exclusive tables including Svenska Spel Roulette and two Svenska Spel Blackjack tables.
Casino & slots
Slot categories include Jackpot, Megaways, Klusterspel (cluster pays), Feature Buy, WOWPOT progressive jackpots, Liveslots and Video Poker, sourced from Relax Gaming, Games Global, NetEnt, Play'n GO, Pragmatic Play, Push Gaming, Blueprint, ELK Studios, IGT and Yggdrasil, with a handful of exclusive titles such as Money Plane and Taco Libre Cash Collect Max.
Sportsbook & pools
Oddset covers straight odds betting alongside Svenska Spel's legacy pools games: Stryktipset (13-match coupon, jackpots that have run past 5 million kronor), Europatipset, Topptipset, Maltipset, plus Challenge, Powerplay, Bomben and Matchen. Football, ice hockey and horse racing get the deepest coverage.
Bonuses under Swedish law
Spellagen (the Gambling Act, 2018:1138) permits a licensee only one bonus per player, offered once, with up to 60 days to clear any condition attached to it. Svenska Spel's version is a flat, no-wagering credit rather than a percentage match. Its most recent run credited SEK 100 to new customers who deposited at least SEK 25 and staked SEK 1, paid within 7 days of the first settled bet. There is no rakeback, reload bonus, cashback or VIP ladder, because the law does not allow one.
Responsible gambling tools
Spelpaus, Sweden's national self-exclusion register, blocks a player from every Swedish-licensed operator at once, not just Svenska Spel. Players set their own deposit and loss limits under Mina granser, run a self-assessment through gamtest.se, and can reach Stodlinjen, the national problem-gambling helpline, at 020-81 91 00.
Security, identity & licensing
Every account is opened and logged into with BankID or Freja eID, Sweden's national e-identification systems, so age and identity are verified before a krona changes hands. The operating entity, Svenska Spel Sport & Casino AB (org. no. 559128-4731), holds a Spelinspektionen license running from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2028. In March 2024, Spelinspektionen issued the operator a warning and a SEK 100 million sanction over duty-of-care gaps involving ten customers. Sweden's Administrative Court annulled that decision in June 2025. Spelinspektionen has since appealed to the Court of Appeal.
Spelinspektionen (Swedish Gambling Authority) commercial online gaming and betting license, held by Svenska Spel Sport & Casino AB, org. no. 559128-4731, valid 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2028

Svenska Spel review FAQ
No. Bingolotto, Triss, Lotto and the other lottery draws sit under AB Svenska Spel, the state-monopoly arm regulated separately under chapter 6 of the Gambling Act. This review covers spela.svenskaspel.se, run by Svenska Spel Sport & Casino AB, the licensed entity that competes with LeoVegas and Mr Green in the open Swedish market for sports betting, casino, poker and bingo.
Yes. It holds a Spelinspektionen license valid from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2028 under organization number 559128-4731, and every account is verified through BankID at signup. The operator was fined SEK 100 million in 2024 over a duty-of-care case, later annulled in court, which is worth reading about even though the underlying license was never in question.
Swedish law caps every licensee to a single bonus per player, offered once, with no ongoing rakeback or reload deals. Svenska Spel's version has recently been a flat SEK 100 credit with no wagering requirement, released to new customers who deposit at least SEK 25 and place a SEK 1 bet. Check the current terms on the kampanj page before you sign up, since the exact offer rotates.
Six: Singeln, Femman, Nian, Tusenlappen, EM-spelet and Rock'n'Roll. Tickets cost 5, 10 or 20 kronor, Singeln is a single-player game, and the rest run as multiplayer rooms with chat and shared jackpots that can top a million kronor.
Swish payouts land in seconds and are capped at SEK 10,000 per rolling 24 hours. Bank transfers take one to two banking days and carry no minimum or maximum amount.
Realistically, no. Signing up and logging in both require BankID or Freja eID, Sweden's national digital identity systems, which are issued to Swedish residents. The license itself is scoped to the Swedish market.
