bet365 goes live in Washington D.C. with Monumental pact
D.C. sports bettors finally have bet365. The operator’s full sportsbook is officially live in the nation's capital, covering more than 100 sports for both pre-match and in-play wagering. To mark the occasion, new local customers are being offered a 'Bet $10, Get $50 in Bonus Bets' deal.
The launch rides in on a multi-year partnership with Monumental Sports & Entertainment. That makes bet365 an official partner of the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards and Washington Mystics. Trip Stoddard, bet365's Head of Development, framed the move as a way to extend the company's U.S. footprint and plant a flag in one of the country's most energetic sports markets. The Monumental deal, he said, gives bet365 a real chance to get in front of Capitals, Wizards and Mystics fans and build something lasting across D.C.
Players in the district get a handful of features that are exclusive to bet365. The Early Payout Offer, for instance, settles qualifying NBA bets as winners once a side pushes its lead to 20 points, no matter how the game ends. For WNBA action, that threshold drops to 18 points. On the NHL side, qualifying wagers pay out as soon as a team grabs a three-goal edge. Then there's the Early Bird Special, a profit boost tied to every Sunday NFL game, available in the hour leading up to the first kickoff.
Thanks to the Monumental tie-up, the bet365 logo will pop up across team broadcasts carried by the Monumental Sports Network. Think virtual signage during Capitals games, plus pre-game and in-game spots sprinkled through Capitals, Wizards and Mystics telecasts.
This is hardly bet365's first rodeo in North America. The company already runs online betting and casino operations in 18 U.S. states. It was among the first regulated brands through the door in Ontario when Canada went live in 2022, and it’s been pushing similar expansion in Alberta since that market opened earlier this year.
